A compact 1200w RF dimmer designed to be mounted in a ceiling void using an access panel or wall mounted in an electrical cupboard. The dimmer is connected in-line before the first light fitting, to enable dimming of up to 1200w/1000va of trailing edge dimmable loads. Controlled from any Rako RAKOM RF device, for example the RCP07 or RCM070 push button RF wall plates.
With its built in RF receiver, the inline dimmer can be controlled from any of the Rako keypads and other control devices.
Difference between Leading Edge and Trailing Edge?
If you are using GU10 bulbs, then we recommend using the trailing edge version as this offers vastly better protection against the GU10 short-circuits produced when the bulb fails. However the trailing edge is not suitable for inductive or wire wound loads and would therefore recommend the leading edge.
