When using GU10 bulbs, you will often find you get a buzzing sound coming from the light fitting, to avoid this Rako have produced the RDT500 dimmer module specifically built for the GU10 lighting.
Able to control up to 500 watts per circuit, the RDT500 is recommended due to its better protection against the harsh short-circuits the GU10 lamps can give when they fail, so it you already have a Rako system and your finding modules keep dying on you, then the RDT500 is the answer.
Note : Not suitable for inductive or wire wound loads
The robust microprocessor design combines smooth reliable dimming with dynamic safety features such as auto-resetting over current, temperature shutdown and voltage surge protection. Programmed using either an RCP07 or RCM070 RF wallplate or the RASOFT PC software suite, the unit stores the house, room and channel address plus four preset scene levels in non volatile memory. The RDT500C dimmer can be controlled from any Rako transmitter such as RCP wallplates, RAH handhelds, MB1 timeclocks and forms the foundation of any Rako scene-set system.
