For simple on or off functionality the Rako RCM-020 provides simple control for single rooms, or can be easily used as a master on and off for the whole house.
Available in screwless or screw-fixing plates the RCM-020 fits a standard UK single back box. There are 2 ways to set the panel up as a master on/off panel, or combining this panel with the Rako RAMB1 master computer, either button can be programmed to control a series of lights.
Not only does the 2 button controller turn lights on and off, but can also be used to turn any powered device on and off, ideal for garden features and other on/off devices.
In order to control you lighting the Rako lighting panels need to be able to command any of the Rako dimmer modules.
RCM units are modules only and always require a front plate kit either RVF (screw-fixing) or RLF (screwless). Â Single gang RVF front plate kits have surface mount options.
The RCP02, gives on, off control.  Addressing switches on the back of the panel to setup rooms and houses. Setting two panels with the same addresses allows two way control within a room.  As these panels are selecting scenes stored within the dimmers having more panels does not give more scenes.  Panels can either be surface mounted using the patress, which gives a depth of 14mm, or flush mounted into a standard single gang UK back-box. Panels are battery powered with battery life calculated as being 3 years, based on pressing a button 30 times a day.
Externally powered versions of the panels are available. Â Two button panels (RCM02) give simple ON/OFF control and can be useful for Master House control applications.
