What is a Macro?
In standard lighting control solutions, most commands are straight forward or normally singular command, so for example if you press “scene 1” then the system sends Scene 1 commands to all the light fittings that are associated with Scene 1 within the same room.
But lets say you had a panel by the front door, with the Macro function you can program any button to fire a multiple chain of commands to produce even better lighting scenes, so for example, we could program button 1 to produce a “welcome” macro command, where once pressed this tells the system to turn all lights on in the hall, low level in the kitchen and low level up the stairs. With Macros the type of cross room and full house control is now only limited to your imagination.
